Polytronic AS delivers electrical engineering and automation to the maritime and industrial sectors. Three certifications and a 24-hour emergency line.
Polytronic AS is a supplier of equipment and services within electrical engineering and automation for the maritime and industrial sectors.
Polytronic counts 2009 as its founding year. The business started out in marine electrical automation and electronics, and has carried the same way of working into land-based industry.
The present company, Polytronic AS, was registered on 1 October 2017 with company registration number 919 732 946. The head office is at Sollistrandsveien 12 in Horten.
We work for the merchant fleet, offshore installations and fishing vessels, and for land-based industry.
Assignments have been both Norwegian and international from the start. Equipment standing idle costs money wherever it stands, which is why our response time is world-wide rather than regional.

Completed technical certification in structured copper cabling from R&M. The data network we install is terminated and documented to the manufacturer's own standard, not to on-site judgement.
As a registered dealer we buy, supply and commission Siemens equipment directly. That shortens the route to the right parts and the right software when something has to be replaced or upgraded.
DNV has assessed and approved Polytronic as a service supplier. Work that must stand up to documentation towards class is then carried out by a supplier the classification society has already accepted.
Quality has to be verifiable. We hold three certifications, documentation follows every job, and the plant has to work when we put it into operation.
You get the same response whether the job is large or small. That is why the emergency line is staffed around the clock, outside office hours too.
Our trade comes from the sea. We bring the experience from vessels and offshore into land-based industry.

The emergency line is the number to call when production or a vessel is at a standstill. Everything else goes to the switchboard: +47 47 444 888 or firmapost@polytronic.no.
